Nagarjuna Sagar Reservoir Full: 26 Gates Lifted
Hyderabad, Sept 30 (Maxim News): The flood flow of the Krishna river continues. Krishnama is raging from Jurala and Srisailam downstream. In this process, as heavy flood water reached Nagarjuna Sagar, the reservoir became full. With this, the project raised 16 gates by 15 feet and 10 gates by 20 feet and released water downstream.
As 26 gates are lifted at once, tourists and locals are capturing the scene of the water gushing like milk bubbles on their cameras. They are mesmerized by the sight of the Sagar waters rushing to descend. As the project gates are lifted, the authorities are constantly alerting tourists. (Maxim News)
