Minor Girl Ends Life Over Harassment By Uncle At Kompally

Hyderabad, Oct 3 (Maxim News): A 17-year-old girl died by suicide allegedly due to alleged harassment from her paternal uncle over a financial issue at her house in Kompally on Friday.

As per available information, the girl from Pochammagadda in Kompally, who was studying intermediate second year in a private college was allegedly enduring ongoing harassment from her paternal uncle.

Police say the girl, deeply disturbed by the harassment, left behind a suicide note before hanging from ceiling fan in the house.

Pet Basheerabad police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident, with officials confirming that the note and other evidence are being examined as part of the inquiry.

Police are also investigating sexual harassment allegations against the victim’s uncle and said necessary action will be taken as per the outcome of the investigation and evidence. (Maxim News)
