Dawood Gang Targets Cricketer Rinku Singh: Demand RS. 5 Crore

Mumbai/Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): After being silent for many years, the Dawood gang is making threats again, the news that members of the underworld mafia don, who are sheltering under the protection of Pakistan, are targeting celebrities in India and demanding huge sums of money is currently disturbing everyone.

Recently, Team India star player Rinku Singh has become a target of the Dawood gang. The Mumbai Crime Branch police revealed that he has received threat calls from members of the underworld don gang. According to police details, it has been revealed that the D-gang sent threat warnings to Rinku three times between February and April this year. In this, they demanded Rs. 5 crore from the player.

Mumbai Police has now arrested two suspects, Mohammed Dilshad and Mohammed Naveed, in connection with the threat. They were handed over to Indian authorities on August 1 while living in the West Indies. They had previously demanded Rs. 10 crore from Zeeshan Siddiqui, the son of late MLA Baba siddiqui.

Rinku singh, who rose to stardom in the Indian cricket team, comes from a middle-class family. He hails from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. His recent engagement to MP Priya Saroj has raised security concerns. Iit is also known that his performance was instrumental in India’s triumph in the recent Asia Cup. (Maxim News)
