Naveen Yadav Confirmed As Congress Candidate For Jubilee Hills By-Election
Hyderabad, Oct 9 (Maxim News): The Congress party high command has finalized Naveen Yadav as the Congress candidate for the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election.
To this end, the party’s AICC general secretary KC Venugopal issued an official statement. The Election Commission recently released the schedule for the Jubilee Hills by-election. The notification will be released on the 13th of this month.
The EC said that polling will be held on the 11th of next month. In this context, the alerted Congress has been working on the selection of the candidate for the last two days. The Congress has finalized Naveen Yadav as the party’s candidate after discussing with the in-charge ministers and constituency leaders.
Azharuddin, Bonthu Rammohan, CN Reddy, Vijayalakshmi and others contested for the Jubilee Hills ticket. It seems that the high command, which wanted to give the ticket to the local BC leader, has leaned towards Naveen Yadav. (Maxim News)
