Dasoju Sravan Accuses Revanth Reddy Of ‘Panic Politics’ In Telangana

  • BRS leader says CM driven by fear and public anger, not governance
  • Sravan claims BRS roadshows reflect rising discontent among voters

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan Kumar has accused Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of reducing governance in the state to “panic politics.” He said that instead of governing with confidence, the Congress-led government was functioning out of fear and reacting to the growing anger of the public.

In his statement on Saturday, Sravan remarked, “Every decision of Revanth Reddy today reflects insecurity. The government is driven not by public welfare but by panic management. Fear of defeat has replaced governance in Telangana.” He alleged that the Congress administration had fallen into “policy paralysis, political arrogance, and panic-driven theatrics.”

According to the BRS MLC, the government’s nervousness became clear after the strong turnout at the BRS roadshow in Shaikpet on Friday, led by Working President K.T. Rama Rao. “The massive turnout in support of BRS shows that people are standing up against Congress misrule. The success of the roadshow is only a beginning. Over the next ten days, similar rallies will echo the same message — Telangana rejects panic politics,” Sravan said.

He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of resorting to distractions instead of fulfilling public promises. “When a government is confident, it governs. When it is fearful, it distracts,” he commented, adding that the state leadership was diverting attention from issues like unemployment, price rise, and unkept welfare commitments through “political spectacles.”

Sravan also criticised the inclusion of Mohammad Azharuddin in the cabinet, calling it a move driven by political anxiety rather than inclusivity. “After denying Muslims representation for nearly two years, the Chief Minister suddenly remembered inclusivity when he sensed defeat in Jubilee Hills. This is not empowerment — it is desperation,” he stated.

He further said that the Congress government had disappointed all sections of society, including farmers, youth, and minorities. “Farmers have not received loan waivers, youth are waiting for jobs, and minorities have been ignored in every policy decision,” he added. Sravan claimed that the BRS campaign was gaining momentum in Jubilee Hills as people were recalling the party’s contributions toward Telangana’s formation and development.

Concluding his statement, Sravan asserted that BRS would bring back confidence in governance. “Telangana deserves leadership that inspires confidence, not fear. Revanth Reddy’s panic politics will collapse under the weight of public truth, just as a wall of sand cannot withstand a storm,” he said.
