Each cake featured an image of a Hyderabad traffic junction and short, catchy slogans such as “Click. Capture. Celebrate – Hyderabad’s Traffic Jewels!”, “Stop. Look. Shoot – Every Junction Tells a Story!”, and “From Chaos to Charm – Hyderabad’s Junctions Deserve a Frame!” Designed to bring smiles while spotlighting civic pride, these edible artworks sought to draw public attention toward a cultural cause that turns urban spaces into subjects of art.

“The idea was to do something unexpected, something that brings a smile while promoting a civic and cultural cause,” said FTCCI President Ravi Kumar, Advisor Valmiki Harikishan, Chairman Prakash Ammanabolu, and Co-Chairman D. Ramchandram. Echoing this, Ms. Sangeetha, Director, and Ms. Vishala, Senior Officer at FTCCI, added, “When awareness messages are served on a cake, they’re impossible to ignore!” The initiative’s playful tone and creative outreach helped the campaign go viral across social platforms, making it both edible and Instagrammable.

The “Traffic Junction Jewels” Photo Contest seeks to spotlight the beauty and vitality of Hyderabad’s bustling intersections — from the Pearl installation near Charminar to artistically designed fountains, sculptures, and other beautified spots that signify the city’s evolving identity. “Every citizen must explore the city before venturing out to explore the state, country, or the world,” said Prakash Ammanabolu. The contest encourages participants to capture Hyderabad’s crossroad artistry and cultural expression through photography.

FTCCI urged residents to submit their entries by November 22, 2025. Participation is free, and anyone can take part by sending high-quality JPEG images (up to 10 MB) with a short description, including details about the location, attraction, and the photographer’s contact details. The committee emphasized that originality is essential, and no plagiarized photos will be accepted. Through this joyful initiative, FTCCI aims to transform civic spaces into creative canvases while celebrating Hyderabad’s vibrant urban charm (Maxim News)
