- Pilgrims can now register for Hajj 2026 through official Nusuk portal
- Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah expands digital services under Vision 2030
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has officially opened registration for Haj 1447 AH–2026 through the Nusuk Haj platform. Pilgrims from countries listed under the Direct Hajj Programme can now create accounts, submit online applications, and access verified information on Haj packages and related services.
According to the ministry, the platform serves as a unified digital gateway for international pilgrims, providing a seamless way to manage their Haj journey. It allows applicants to explore official packages, receive timely updates, and ensure authentic communication with Saudi authorities. The ministry also advised applicants to visit the Nusuk website to verify if their country is covered under the Direct Haj Programme.
The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to strengthen digital transformation across Haj services. It aligns with Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the experience of pilgrims, known as the Guests of Allah, by improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility. The ministry emphasized that this digital step will help streamline procedures and deliver a more convenient registration process.
Pilgrims from multiple regions including Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania can now register through the platform. The Nusuk Haj portal lists participating countries such as Japan, South Korea, France, the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, and Australia among others. This expansion ensures inclusivity for Muslims residing in both Muslim-majority and minority nations.
On November 4, the ministry confirmed that registration for Haj 2026 is also open for pilgrims from Muslim–minority countries through the Nusuk digital platform. The next Haj season is expected to begin around May 24–29, 2026. However, the final dates will be determined by the moon sighting closer to Dhul Hijjah, the twelfth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Haj remains one of the most significant obligations in Islam, required once in a lifetime for every able Muslim.
