Maganti Mother Files Complaint In Jubilee Hills Bypoll
Hyderabad: Maganti Mahananda Kumari on Saturday sought police intervention, alleging foul play in her son Maganti Gopinath’s death. She named local political figures and hospital staff in her complaint. She asked for a transparent and speedy investigation. The complaint arrives as the Jubilee Hills by election intensifies political scrutiny.
She told Rayadurgam police that Gopinath’s death followed repeated hospital admissions. He received treatment at Gachibowli AID Hospital. He then died while under care there. She said hospital procedures and delays seemed suspicious. Therefore she demanded forensic and laboratory reports be reviewed.
She alleged she was barred from seeing her son on ventilator. However, she added KTR was allowed access. She said this contrast raised serious doubts. Additionally she asked police to examine the role of Gopinath’s security personnel. She said the guards are trained in CPR and emergency aid. Yet they were allegedly absent when he collapsed. This omission, she believes, needs urgent inquiry.
She submitted medical records and investigation reports with her complaint. She asked for action against any negligence. Also she urged that custodial and protective responsibilities be scrutinised. The complaint requests clear answers about delays in death certification. It seeks accountability for any lapses by hospital or security staff.
Meanwhile, district officials confirmed receipt of the complaint. Police said they would register a case and examine the documents. They added they would follow legal procedure and consult medical experts. Finally the mother said she seeks justice and wants public clarity on the circumstances of her son’s death.
