An intermediate student from Karimnagar district died under suspicious circumstances in Shivarampally village of Saidapur mandal on Saturday. The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Reddy Archana, a student of Somaram Model School. The cause of her death remains unknown, and police have started an investigation into the incident.

According to villagers, Archana returned home on Friday night after attending an examination. She reportedly appeared cheerful and spent time with her family before going to bed. However, tragedy struck the next morning when she was found dead in her house. Family members immediately alerted authorities upon discovering her lifeless body.

Police teams visited the spot after being informed and registered a case. Officials have yet to disclose any preliminary findings pending the post-mortem examination. The sudden demise has caused shock and grief in the village. Archana was the second daughter of Reddy Raju and Lavanya, residents of Shivarampally.

Meanwhile, local residents have called for a thorough and transparent probe into the girl’s death. Many expressed concern over the recurring incidents involving young students in the region. Police have assured that a full investigation is underway to determine whether foul play was involved or if it was a case of suicide or natural death.

The investigation continues, and authorities are awaiting medical reports to establish the exact cause. The incident has highlighted the need for greater awareness and mental health support mechanisms for students facing academic or personal stress.
