Telangana Rising Global Summit Draws Massive Investments
Telangana Rising Global Summit | Hyderabad, Dec 10 (Maxim News): Huge investments have poured into Telangana.
MoUs were signed for investments worth Rs. 5.75,000 crore at the Telangana Rising Global Summit. While agreements worth Rs. 3,97,500 crore were signed on the first day of the summit, on the second day, Tuesday, various companies signed agreements with the government worth Rs. 1,77,500 crore.
Infrakey DC Parks has signed an MoU for an investment of Rs. 70,000 crore. It will set up an Ai-ready data park with a capacity of one gigawatt on 150 acres.
KCK infra has also come forward with Rs. 9,000 crore. It has signed an agreement with the state government to expand data center facilities. This will create jobs for 2,000 people.
Agreements were signed on Tuesday for investments worth Rs. 7,045 crore in the Telangana tourism sector. 10,000 people will be directly employed and 30,000 people indirectly.
Apart from these, companies have also shown interest in investments mainly in IT, power, Sports, tourism, forestry and other sectors.
Telangana Rising Global Summit
The state government believes that the goal has been achieved by attracting a large number of investments in the two day global conference organized with the aim of developing Telangana into a 3 trillion dollar economy by 2047.
Several eminent industrialists met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday at the premises of the global conference. Taj GVK Managing Director Shalini Bhupal, representatives of Analog AI, Dream Valley Golf and Resorts, Semb Corp (Singapore0, TCCI (Taiwan Group), IIFA, Atmosphere Core India, Shree Havisham Hospitality, Saras infrastructure, Polin Group, Multiverse, Caravan, KEi Groups, Crystal lagoons (USA), Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Vice Chairperson at Godrej Industries Group, Group President Rakesh Swamy and others met the CM Revanth Reddy.
They spoke about the expansion of their companies. They showed interest in investments in milk, FMCG, real estate and palm oil sectors.
Representatives of the Canadian imperial bank of Commerce informed the Chief Minister during a meeting that they intend to open a GCC in Hyderabad. (Maxim News)
