Mr. Taiyab completed his doctoral work on a focused topic. His thesis title reads: “A Comparative Study of Atmospheric lifted Index with Rainfall over Hyderabad, India using IGRA Data.” He explored connections between weather metrics and local rain patterns. Such studies help predict rainfall in the region.

Dr. Rizwal Ul Haq Ansari supervised the research. Dr. Ansari serves as Assistant Professor in Physics at MANUU. Meanwhile, Prof. H. Aleem Basha provided co-supervision. Prof. Basha acts as Dean of the School of Sciences at the university. Their guidance shaped the project’s direction.

Guidance Shapes Key Atmospheric Research

This PhD award highlights MANUU’s role in science education. The university focuses on Urdu-medium instruction, yet advances technical fields like physics. Therefore, Mr. Taiyab’s success shows growing expertise in meteorology.

Hyderabad faces varied weather challenges. Researchers like Mr. Taiyab use tools such as IGRA Data to analyze them. IGRA Data offers detailed atmospheric profiles. His study compares the lifted index—a measure of atmospheric stability—with actual rainfall. This approach aids better forecasting.

Also, the work targets local conditions in Hyderabad, India. It draws on real data from the area. Consequently, findings could support weather agencies and farmers. MANUU continues to nurture such research efforts.
