Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has ordered that a kite festival be organized at the lakes on January 11, 12 and 13 on the occasion of Sankranti. He wants this festival to be held grandly in collaboration with the tourism department. Hyderabad Commissioner Ranganath met the CM at his Jubilee hills residence recently.
he explained abut the renovation of the lakes undertaken under HYDRA. The CM suggested that IT celebrities and employees be invited to the kite festival to be organized in Hi-Tech City Thummidikunta. He ordered that a kite festival be organized with film celebrities at Nallacheruvu in Kukatpally and with sportsmen at Burukuddin Lake in Rajendranagar.
CM Revanth Reddy said that Indiramma houses will be sanctioned to farmers who lost their lands in kadthal and Amanagallu mandals of Kalvakurthi constituency as part of the construction of Greenfield Radial Road Phase-2. MP Mallu Ravi met Cm Revanth Reddy and handed over a memorandum to support the farmers. He asked that the farmers be given appropriate compensation as per the market rate. The MP said that the CM responded positively and gave an assurance on this. (Maxim News)
