Karwar/internet/Hyderabad, Dec 28 (Maxim News): The country’s first lady and Supreme Commander of the three services, Draupadi Murmu, traveled in a submarine. She departed from the Karwar Naval base in Karnataka in the Kalvari series submarine INS Vaghsheer.
The President is accompanied by Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi. This is the first time that President Murmu has sailed in a Kalvari-class submarine. Former President Abdul Kalam had previously sailed in a Kalvari-class submarine. After that, Murmu became the second President to sail in a submarine. (Maxim News)
