Central Govt To Present Annual Budget 2026-27 On February 1

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 2 (Maxim News): The central government is preparing for the budget session (Budget 2026). It has been learned from relevant sources that the budget for the next financial year (2026-27) is planned to be presented on February 1. It is known that every year the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the annual budget on February 1. The tradition of presenting the budget on February 1 has been continuing since 2017.

Sources have revealed that the budget will be presented on the same date this time too. No official announcement has been made in this regard so far. At the same time, the government has not yet announced the dates for the budget sessions. However, economic experts estimate that this time the budget is likely to focus on issues like the middle class, farmers, youth, women, agriculture, manufacturing sectors, and employment creation.
