Demand Not To Merge Rajendranagar With Hyderabad: BJP Srinivas Reddy
Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Maxim News): BJP strongly opposed the corporations that are dividing suburban municipalities and municipal corporations, said Mailardevupalli Corporator and BJP Rajendranagar constituency in-charge Tokala Srinivas Reddy .
Addressing a press conference at the party office in Katedan, he said that the state government is making divisions, zones and the formation of Hyderabad Corporation in favor of the Greater Majlis party. The BJP is strongly opposed to this policy.
They said that the Mailardevpally division was split into two and changed in favor of the Majlis. They said that the Shamshabad area, which needed four divisions, was reduced to only two divisions. They said that they were conspiring to merge the areas in the Rajendranagar constituency into the Rajendranagar zone and merge them into the Hyderabad Corporation instead of merging them into Cyberabad. They recalled that this was a conspiracy to benefit the Majlis party.
Tokala Srinivas Reddy said that 300 divisions should be kept as a single corporation, otherwise three corporations of 100 divisions should be formed. If the government and the Chief Minister love the Majlis so much, they should form a corporation with 100 divisions and hand it over to them. He also warned that if Rajendranagar area is merged with Hyderabad Corporation, they will not be silent. Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud, who is not silent even if Rajendranagar zones are merged with Hyderabad and police divisions are merged with Hyderabad, questioned the people whether we need him.
He said that it is sad that MLA Prakash Goud, who is silent in the assembly while the Rajendranagar constituency area is being merged with Hyderabad Corporation and Hyderabad Police Commissionerate, is going abroad during the assembly. He questioned why the MLA did not speak about the problems of the people of the constituency. He wanted MLA Prakash Goud to speak up now. He wanted Rajendranagar zone to be merged with Cyberabad Corporation and police divisions to be kept in Cyberabad. He said that a public movement will be taken up with all parties on this.
