Municipal Polls | Hyderabad, Jan 17 (Maxim News): Telangana BJP Chief Ramchander Rao said that the schedule for municipal elections in the state will be released soon and that they are ready whenever the elections come.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, he appreciated the efforts of the party workers in the recent Sarpanch elections.

Rao said that they contested for about 5,000 Sarpanch posts and the number of BJP Sarpanchs has increased compared to the past. Ramchandra Rao said that the BJP has become stronger in rural areas and these results are proof of this.

The Telangana BJP chief alleged that the BRS party will soon fall apart and has lost the trust of the people. He criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for not doing anything except going to Delhi and holding meetings.

Ramchander Rao accused the Congress government of turning into a 40 percent commission and threatening industrialists.

BJP Chief said that the central government is providing huge funds to Telangana and development is happening with them. Rao criticized the state government for not allocating land for central projects and schools.

BJP Chief said that the Chief Minister does not need to go to Delhi for development in villages, it can be done with central funds.

Ramchander Rao accused the Congress government of spreading lies about central schemes and misleading the people with false information.

Ramchander Rao called for making BJP candidates win in municipalities and teaching Congress a lesson. He suggested that central schemes should be taken to villages and towns. He recalled that the BJP flag was hoisted in the recent Trivandrum elections.

He reminded that despite attacks on activists in Kerala, they worked without giving up and that they also won in the Mumbai Corporation.

BJP Chief said that the BJP won 25 out of 29 municipalities in the BMC elections.

Ramchandra Rao said that if Telangana is to develop, BJP must win. He said that they will work with commitment to serve the people and are ready to work with the people.

The BJP state president called on the leaders to stay in the areas allotted to municipalities and hoist the BJP flag. (Maxim News)
