Puranapool Communal Incident: Scholars, Sufis Meet DGP Shivadhar Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan. 21 (Maxim News): A delegation of prominent scholars and Sufi leaders met with Director General of Police (DGP) Telangana, Shivadhar Reddy here on Wednesday. Urging swift and stringent action against those responsible for the recent attack on Chilla Mehboob Subhani and Graves at PuranaPool Darwaza on January 15.

The delegation emphasized that such acts of vandalism undermine the city’s tradition of coexistence and appealed for enhanced security at all places of worship, especially the 400-year-old Dargah Hazrath Moosa Qadri.

They offered their full cooperation in promoting interfaith dialogue and community outreach programs to reinforce mutual respect and understanding.

“We trust in the state’s leadership to uphold law and order and safeguard societal unity,” said the representatives, urging decisive action against the perpetrators.

The delegation included prominent figures such as Maulana Syed Mahmood Badshah Qadri, Maulana Dr. Syed Mahmood Safiullah Viqar Pasha, Maulana Syed Shah Fazlullah Qadri Al Moosavi, Moulana Mohammed Husamuddin Sani Jafer Pasha, Moulana Syed Shah Naymatullah Qadri, Moulana Syed Mohammad Ali Qadri Al Hashmi Mumshad Pasha, Moulana Syed Aale Mustafa Qadri Al Moosavi Al Jeelani Ali Pasha, Moulana Syed Saifullah Hussaini Al Baqri Saif Pasha, Moulana Qazi Syed Noor ul Asfia Ruhi Azmi, Moulana Dr Khaja Shuja Uddin ifteqari Haqqani Pasha, Moulana Mohammed Fareeduddin Zahed Kareemi, Moulana Mohammed Mohiuddin Ahmed Husami, Moulana Syed Wasif Alam Qadri Al Moosavi and other scholars was present.
