PM Modi Flagged Off 3 Amrit Bharat Express Trains

Thiruvananthapuram/Hyderabad, Jan 23 (Maxim News) :Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Friday) flagged off three Amrit Bharat Express trains from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. These trains will improve regional rail connectivity between the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Modi also flagged off 4 new train services, including these three Amrit Bharat Express trains. The trains launched by Prime Minister Modi include the Cherlapalli-Thiruvananthapuram superfast train allocated to Telangana.

As soon as Prime Minister Modi flagged off, two Amrit Bharat Express services started from Thiruvananthapuram Central. These trains are running from Thiruvananthapuram Central to Tambaram and Nagercoil Junction to Mangalore Junction. At the same time, the Amrit Bharat Express left Thiruvananthapuram North to Cherlapalli at 10.45 am.

The Railways has decided to allocate another Amrit Bharat Express to Telangana in the new Amrit Bharat trains. This train will be somewhat useful for the passengers as it passes through the two Telugu states. This superfast train has been allocated between Cherlapalli Junction and Thiruvananthapuram. It will stop at Nalgonda and Miryalaguda in Telangana and Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Ongole, Nellore and Renigunta stations in Andhra Pradesh.

Regular services from 27th.. Bookings from tomorrow

The regular services of the Cherlapalli – Thiruvananthapuram North Amrit Bharat Weekly Express train (17041) will start from 27th of this month. It will depart from Cherlapalli on Tuesdays at 7.15 am and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 2.45 pm the next day. In the return journey, this train (17042) will depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 5.30 pm on January 28 (Wednesday) and reach Cherlapalli at 11.30 pm the next day. This train has eight sleeper coaches, 11 general and second class coaches, one pantry car and two second class coaches (for the disabled). Bookings for this train will start from 8 am on Friday.  

The Center has already allocated an Amrit Bharat Express service between Cherlapalli – Muzaffarpur (Bihar). It is known that the Center has brought the Amrit Bharat Express, which has special facilities for passengers going to long distances. The Amrit Bharat train between Cherlapalli – Muzaffarpur starts from Cherlapalli in Telangana at 4.05 am and enters Maharashtra via Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagaznagar. It reaches Muzaffarpur the next day at 4 pm.

The Railways will run another Amrit Bharat train through the state of Andhra Pradesh. While two trains are already running through AP, another train has also been made available for passengers. Railway officials said that this Amrit Bharat Express, which will run through Andhra Pradesh, will stop at several railway stations in the state. This new service will be available every Saturday. SMVT will depart from Bengaluru at 8.50 am on Saturday and reach Alipurduar at 10.25 am on Monday. Then it will depart from Alipurduar at 10.25 pm on Monday and reach SMVT Bangalore at 3 pm on Thursday. This train will have 8 sleeper class coaches, 11 general second class coaches, 1 pantry car and 2 second class coaches.

This Amrit Bharat Express, which starts from SMVT Bangalore, enters AP via Kuppam. It reaches Kuppam at 10.09 am. After that, the Amrit Bharat Express will halt at Renigunta at 2.30 pm, Nellore at 4.43 pm, Ongole at 6.23 pm, Chirala at 7.03 pm, Tenali at 7.53 pm, Vijayawada at 8.45 pm, Eluru at 9.53 pm, Rajahmundry at 11.23 am, Samarlakota at 12.08 am, Anakapalle at 2.33 am, Duvvada at 3.50 am, Pendurthi at 4.18 am, Kotha Walas at 4.28 am, Vizianagaram at 5 am, Srikakulam Road at 5.58 am, and Palasa at 7.35 am.

The Amrit Bharat Express departing from Alipurduar will halt at Palasa at 1.48 am, Srikakulam Road at 2.43 am, Vizianagaram at 3.40 am, Kothavalasa at 4.15 am, Pendurthi at 4.25 am, Duvvada at 6.30 am, Anakapalle at 6.43 am, Samarlakota at 7.58 am, Rajahmundry at 8.48 am, Eluru at 10.18 am, Vijayawada at 12.05 pm, Tenali at 12.43 pm, Chirala at 1.43 pm, Ongole at 2.28 pm, Nellore at 4.33 pm, Renigunta at 7.10 pm, and Kuppam at 11.43 pm.
