National Urdu Science Congress to open at MANUU on Feb. 16
Hyderabad, Feb 14 (Maxim News): Centre for Promotion of Knowledge in Urdu (CPKU) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is organizing a two-day National Urdu Science Congress–2017 beginning on February 16.
According to Dr. Khaja Syed Moizuddin (Abid Moiz), Consultant, CPKU and Convener of the Congress, about two dozen scientists and experts would take part in the deliberations spanning over several sessions on February 16 and 17. The subjects that would be discussed include Presentation of Scientific Knowledge in Urdu and its Problems; the Quran, Religion and Science; New Technologies and Urdu and; Science, Syllabi and Education in Urdu language schools.
The inaugural Session of the Congress will be held on February 16 at 9.30 am at DDE Auditorium, MANUU, where Prof. S Ramachandram, Vice-Chancellor, Osmania University, will be the Chief Guest.
Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice-Chancellor MANUU, will chair the session where Prof. Shamsur Rahman Faruqi, former, Principal Scientist, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, and Dr. Mohammed Iqtidar Husain Farooqi, former, Deputy Director/Head, Department of Plant Chemistry, National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, will be the Guests of Honour.
