A JCB truck accident in Vikarabad district turned fatal when a truck carrying a JCB overturned on a moving bike, killing an eight year old boy on the spot. The tragic incident left the boy’s father seriously injured and caused minor injuries to other family members. The accident has shocked local residents and cast deep grief over the affected family.
Hyderabad: The JCB truck accident occurred in the limits of Vikarabad district when a truck transporting a JCB lost control and overturned on a bike. According to police details, the victim was identified as eight year old Rithvik. He was travelling on a bike with his father Lalayya. They were heading towards Vikarabad from Kondapur Kalan village in Dharur mandal. Meanwhile, Rithvik’s mother Meghana and his younger sister were following them on a scooty.
The tragedy took place near the turn at Bugga Rameshwaram Temple, close to Vikarabad. At the bend, the truck carrying the JCB reportedly went out of control. It then overturned directly onto the bike. As a result, Rithvik died on the spot. His father Lalayya suffered a severe leg injury. The mother and daughter, who were on the scooty behind, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
However, local people who witnessed the accident reacted quickly. They rushed the injured to the nearest hospital for treatment. Soon after receiving information, police officials reached the accident spot. They examined the scene and gathered initial details. The police later registered a case related to the JCB truck accident and began a formal investigation.
During the initial probe, police suspected negligence on the part of the truck driver. There are also suspicions that the driver was drunk at the time of the accident. The investigation is ongoing to establish the exact cause and responsibility. Meanwhile, Rithvik’s sudden death has left his family in deep sorrow. The parents were seen crying inconsolably after the incident. The accident has created a wave of sadness in the area and raised concerns about road safety involving heavy vehicles.
