Irregularities In TTD Ghee Tender: Shocking Comments From Payyavula

Amaravati/Hyderabad, Feb 5 (Maxim News):  AP Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav has clarified that he is stating the facts on the suspicions regarding the adulteration of Srivari Laddu. He said that devotees had complained to him in the past that the Venkateswara Swamy Laddu was hard and had no aroma. After meeting CM Chandrababu Naidu at his residence, Payyavula spoke to the media. He mentioned that the then EO Dharma Reddy was told by the workers that organic ghee would be the same. He reminded that the EO had sent samples to the NDDB as part of his duties. He said that everyone was shocked by the NDDB report. Payyavula Keshav stated that the report came as if there was adulteration due to a difference in the S value.

Minister Payyavula Keshav said that Nara Chandrababu Naidu, as the Chief Minister, had brought those matters before the people and explained the report of that time. He said, “We have formed an SIT to solve this adulteration. It has been decided to add two more officers and investigate under the auspices of the CBI. They want to ensure that such things do not happen in TTD in the future. Everything was done knowingly. Not unknowingly… CFTRI also gave another report. It stated that Betasisto Styrofoam was in it. Even after knowing all this, the former TTD chairman suppressed this matter. 60 lakh liters of adulterated ghee were supplied, Rs. 234 crores were misused,” Minister Payyavula Keshav revealed.

Minister Payyavula Keshav said that the younger brother went to Bolebaba Dairy and asked them to give this tender.. but they did not accept. ‘They were blacklisted. Even after that, their company could not be taken.. They made the supply through AR Dairy and Vaishnavi Dairy. They supplied at a loss of Rs. 35 per kg. We have to think about how this was possible for them. How did they give ghee for Rs. 320… A company called Bolebaba made ghee called ghee. They made ghee with palm kernel oil and palm kernel oil to give it the smell and color of ghee. Bolebaba has only ten employees. Of these, six are not including sweepers and watchmen,’ said Minister Payyavula Keshav. (Maxim News)
