FSL: Difficult To Recover Data From Those Files: Special Team Concluded
Hyderabad, Feb 21 (Maxim News): A key development has taken place in the case related to the recent major fire incident at the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) in Nampally, Hyderabad. A special team from Nagpur has found that a total of 1,100 files were burnt in the fire incident. The team tried hard to recover the data from the burnt files. But it was found that it was difficult to recover the data from those files.
FSL plays a crucial role in the investigation of various cases. Blood, hair, fingerprints, weapons, bullets, documents are tested in this lab to determine whether they have been forged or not. All other evidence, including DNA samples and analysis of electronic devices, is examined in the lab and reports are prepared. This evidence is crucial in court verdicts. The extent to which an accident in this lab will affect the investigation of many cases has become a matter of concern. (Maxim News)
