AI Summit Turning Point Says PM Modi

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in the 131st edition of Mann Ki Baat and said the recently held AI Summit is a turning point. He shared his views on technology, digital literacy, organ donation, and national values during the radio programme.

AI Summit Highlighted in Mann Ki Baat

The Prime Minister began his speech with the recently held AI Impact Summit. He said that this summit is a turning point in the development of the Indian technology sector. He said that he met world class tech leaders and CEOs at this summit. He said that he explained to them about many interesting technological developments happening in India.

He said that he explained how AI technology is being used in the animal husbandry and agriculture sector. He said that with this, farmers can keep a constant eye on their livestock and crops. Meanwhile, he suggested that Indian manufacturers and startups should focus on manufacturing quality products. He said they should earn international recognition with products and services that cannot be faked. He also said that the country should be established as a hub of creativity. He expressed confidence that Indian youth, innovators and entrepreneurs have that power.

Organ Donation, Digital Literacy and Tribute

The Prime Minister also praised those who come forward to donate their organs. He remembered the recently deceased Kerala child Alin Sherin Abraham. He congratulated the girl’s parents for donating their deceased child’s organs to others. It is known that 10 month old Alin died after sustaining serious injuries in a recent accident. Alin became the youngest organ donor in the country after her parents agreed to donate her organs.

In his speech, Prime Minister Modi suggested that we should abandon colonial culture and symbols and turn towards Indianness. He recalled his Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotsav speech at the Red Fort earlier. He called for abandoning the slave mentality and achieving independence in thoughts.

He also spoke about digital literacy and cyber security. He advised people to be vigilant in using digital platforms. However, he warned that despite increasing awareness about digital issues, online frauds are on the rise. He said that awareness should be raised about KYC regulations and other digital issues.

The Prime Minister also praised the late AIADMK leader and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa. He paid tribute to her on her birth anniversary on February 24. He said that she dedicated her life to public welfare and has remained in the hearts of the people of Tamil Nadu forever.
