Hyderabad: The weather across Telangana is expected to remain unstable over the next few days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds in several districts. Authorities have advised residents to remain cautious, particularly during evening hours when convective activity is likely to intensify.
According to the latest forecast, parts of the state may experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms. The IMD has issued yellow alerts for multiple districts, indicating the possibility of thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds. In some areas, conditions could escalate to moderate rainfall within short durations, leading to temporary waterlogging in low-lying regions.
In Hyderabad, cloudy skies prevailed through the day, with brief spells of rain reported in certain localities. Commuters faced minor traffic disruptions due to sudden showers and slippery road conditions. Officials from the civic and disaster response departments stated that teams are on alert to address any emergency arising from heavy downpours or strong winds.
Temperatures across the state are expected to hover in the low to mid-30 degrees Celsius range during the daytime, while night temperatures may settle between 18 and 22 degrees Celsius.
