Traffic Restrictions At KBR Park From Today

Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News) Traffic restrictions will be imposed in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills from today (Friday) in view of the commencement of construction work on a steel flyover and underpass at the KBR Park entrance, Mugdha Junction and Jubilee Hills check post, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) said in a statement. Those travelling on these roads are advised to travel taking the restrictions and diversions into consideration.

Vehicles going from Nagarjuna Circle via Jubilee Hills Checkpost should take a diversion at Srinagar Colony T-Junction, Sagar Society and proceed via Srinagar Colony Main Road to Indiranagar Labor Adda, Jubilee Hills Road No. 5, Vengiri Crossroad.

Those going to NFCL from Jubilee Hills Road No. 36, 45 can go via Jubilee Hills Checkpost, Venkatagiri Road No. 2, Yusufguda Basti, Yousufguda Checkpost, Maitrivanam, Ameerpet or via Indiranagar Labor Adda, Srinagar Colony.

Motorists heading towards KCP Guesthouse, Banjara Hills Road No. 1 towards KBR Park, Jubilee Hills Checkpost can take Banjara Hills Road No. 10, turn left at Cancer Hospital, and proceed towards Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 via Agrasen Island and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Those coming from Masab Tank, heading towards KBR Park and Jubilee Hills Checkpost, can turn left at Virinchi Hospital (1/12), go towards Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 via Agrasen Island and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Instructions for motorists

  • Do not travel on these routes during peak hours (between 8.30am-11am and 5pm-9pm).
  • Follow the instructions and signboards given by the traffic police.
  • Use a navigation app for traffic updates.
  • Public transportation or car pooling should be prioritized to reduce traffic congestion.
  • Heavy vehicles should not travel on these routes during rush hour.
