WATCH | Asaduddin Owaisi Reacts to Iran– US Israel Conflict
Hyderabad, Feb 28 (Maxim News) AIMIM President Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi strongly criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel, calling it untimely, and a betrayal of India’s long-standing foreign policy amid the escalating Iran–Israel conflict.
Barrister Owaisi stated that India has historically maintained a neutral and balanced position on the West Asian issue for over eight decades, and questioned the wisdom of abandoning that stance at such a sensitive moment.
He warned that nearly 10 million Indians reside in Gulf countries, and asked what message the Prime Minister’s visit sends to the region during a time of heightened tensions. He remarked that if the Prime Minister’s aircraft had been mid-air during the escalation, the seriousness of the situation would have been far more evident.
Referring to statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Barrister Owaisi said the visit was politically exploited by Israel for its own strategic narrative. He alleged that Israel used the Prime Minister’s presence to project international endorsement at a critical juncture.

He also pointed out that several Indian media personnel who travelled to Israel to cover the Prime Minister’s visit were stranded due to the conflict, highlighting the lack of foresight and risk assessment by the Government of India. (Maxim News)
