CM Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana Government is closely monitoring the situation of people from the State residing in Iran and other Gulf nations.
Therefore, he directed officials to stay prepared for any contingency. He also instructed them to coordinate with the Union Government if evacuation or assistance becomes necessary.
Revanth Reddy assures support to Telugu citizens abroad
Revanth Reddy said the State Government will work in coordination with the Centre to ensure the safe return of Telugu citizens in case of an emergency.
CM Reddy added that officials must maintain constant communication with Indian Embassies and Consulates in the affected countries. Furthermore, he asked departments concerned to review preparedness measures on a regular basis.
