Rahul Gandhi Hyderabad Visit For PCC Meeting

Hyderabad: Rahul Gandhi Hyderabad visit drew strong political attention on Monday as the Lok Sabha Opposition Leader arrived in the city for key party meetings. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy received him at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad.

Soon after, Congress workers gathered outside the airport and raised slogans in his support. Later, Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy left together for Vikarabad in the same vehicle.

They attended the PCC Political Affairs Committee meeting at SAP Arts and Science College. During the meeting, leaders discussed the current political situation in the state and strategies to strengthen the party.

As part of the Rahul Gandhi Hyderabad visit, he also travelled to Ananthagiri Hills. There, district Congress committee presidents from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are undergoing training sessions at Haritha Hotel.

Rahul Gandhi attended the closing session as chief guest. He addressed party representatives from both states and offered guidance on organisational strengthening.

Meanwhile, police deployed heavy security in Vikarabad and Ananthagiri Hills due to his visit. Notably, this is his visit to Telangana after assuming office as Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha.

Earlier, several ministers reached Vikarabad to attend the programme. However, TPCC chief Mahesh Goud asked ministers not to attend the DCC training session. Consequently, some ministers returned to Hyderabad without participating.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and other senior leaders joined the meetings. Party leaders continued discussions on recent political developments and internal strategy.
