With winter ending and the summer season beginning, the intensity of the sun has increased across the state. However, The Department of Meteorology has warned that heavy and unseasonal rainfall may occur later this month.

According to weather experts, there is a possibility of unseasonal rains in Telangana after the 18th or 19th of this month. Although the state is currently witnessing intense heat conditions, meteorologists believe weather patterns may shift soon. As a result, the state could experience widespread rainfall in the coming days.

Heavy Rain Alert Issued by Meteorology Department

The Department of Meteorology has issued a Heavy Rain Alert for Telangana, indicating that the upcoming rains may be stronger than the showers recorded last month.

Officials said the rainfall expected later this month could be heavier than the rain that occurred on the 23rd and 24th of last month.

However, experts clarified that heat conditions will continue until the rains actually begin. Therefore, residents across Telangana may continue to face high temperatures over the next several days.

The department stated that people should stay cautious as the intensity of the sun remains high during this period.

Heatwave Conditions Likely Before Unseasonal Rains

Meanwhile, the Meteorology Department also predicted that temperatures may rise significantly in several districts of the state. In some areas, maximum temperatures may exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days. These rising temperatures reflect the increasing intensity of the summer season across Telangana.

In Hyderabad and surrounding regions, temperatures are expected to range between 36°C and 37°C. Although these temperatures are slightly lower than those predicted for other areas, they still indicate strong heat conditions for the city.

Officials have advised people to remain alert as the heat intensifies. At the same time, they have urged farmers to take necessary precautions in view of the expected heavy rainfall. The sudden shift from intense heat to unseasonal rain could impact agricultural activities if preventive measures are not taken.
