In this context, the Center has denied the widespread propaganda that the US Navy is using Indian ships to attack Iran.
The Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has clarified that the allegations are completely false and baseless.
Former US Army Colonel Douglas MacGregor recently said in a channel interview, “As the pressure on US military bases in the Gulf region has increased, our naval bases have been destroyed.

Our port facilities have also been destroyed. In the current situation, we have to rely on India and its ports. This is not the right way.
However, due to the impact of the situation, we have to do so,” MacGregor said. The controversy erupted after his comments were widely circulated on social media.
Responding to this, the Fact Check Department of the Union Ministry of External Affairs completely denied the comments. “There is no truth in the news that Indian ports are being used for US attacks,” it announced on the ‘X‘ platform.
