Women Protection Laws: Revanth Reddy Highlights Initiatives

Hyderabad, Mar 7: Women Protection Laws took center stage as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the state government is introducing several measures to safeguard women and support their progress. He made these remarks while attending the Stand with Her program held at the JNTU auditorium.
Speaking at the event, Revanth Reddy stressed that the government is working on multiple initiatives aimed at protecting women and strengthening their role in society. He stated, “We are bringing many laws for the protection of women. We brought the Mahila Shakti scheme with the idea of empowering them economically.”
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister also highlighted the government’s trust in women and their growing role in public life. He said the administration recognises the importance of women and continues to provide them opportunities in leadership and political participation. According to him, “The government has complete faith in women. We are recognising their importance and giving them positions in the party.”
Revanth Reddy also spoke about economic participation by women. He noted that women have taken ownership roles in public transport services. He said, “Women own 1,000 buses in the RTC.” He further pointed out that women from rural areas are gaining recognition beyond the state and country. He said, “Women in rural areas are getting international recognition.”
The Stand with Her program brought together several senior officials and prominent personalities. Director General of Police Shivdhar Reddy attended the event. City Police Commissioner Sajjanar also participated in the program. Film actor Sai Durgatej was present as well.
The event focused on highlighting women’s safety, empowerment, and participation in different sectors. Through such initiatives, the state government sought to underline the importance of creating supportive policies for women and encouraging their involvement in economic and social activities.
Meanwhile, the presence of police officials, public representatives, and other participants reflected the broader message of support for women’s protection and empowerment. The program at the JNTU auditorium served as a platform to discuss ongoing initiatives and reinforce the role of women in society.
