Moinabad Farmhouse Drugs Party Triggers Political Row

Hyderabad, March 15: Tandur MLA Manohar Reddy reacted to the Moinabad farmhouse drugs party case and made strong allegations on Sunday.

Manohar Reddy accused former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy of serious misconduct. Moreover, he claimed Rohith Reddy faced many allegations in the past.

Manohar Reddy said Rohith Reddy farmhouse in Moinabad became a hub for illegal activities.

Therefore, he said voters rejected Rohith Reddy in the recent elections. He also questioned whether the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party would take disciplinary action against him.

Furthermore, he said his party aims to make Telangana a drugs free state.

MLA Manohar Reddy added that authorities will not close the case without action. He also demanded strict punishment for everyone who consumed drugs. In addition, he alleged that BRS leaders encouraged a drugs culture in the state.

Police detained 11 people during the alleged drugs party. The group included former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy and Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav. Businessmen Namid Mishra and Ritesh Reddy were also present. Police also detained another woman during the operation.

According to preliminary medical tests, several attendees tested positive for drug consumption. These include Rohith Reddy, Namid Mishra, and Ritesh Reddy. Kaushik Ravi, Arjun Reddy, and MP Putta Mahesh also tested positive.

Meanwhile, the case triggered public debate across Telangana. Many citizens expressed concern over alleged drug use by public representatives. They demanded strict enforcement of anti drug laws. They also asked authorities to ensure accountability regardless of political position.

However, police said the investigation continues. Officials are now verifying evidence and forensic reports. They are also examining the role of each accused person. Authorities said they will file charges based on confirmed evidence.
