Moinabad Drugs Case Six Test Positive In Eagle Raid

Hyderabad, March 15: Six people tested positive in the Moinabad drugs case, according to Eagle team SP Giridhar.

The positive cases include former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy and Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar Yadav.

Police also confirmed positive results for Ritesh Reddy, Namit Mishra, Kaushik Ravi, and Arjun Reddy. However, officials said initial rapid tests showed different results in one case.

SP Giridhar said the rapid test conducted on Saturday night showed a negative result for MP Putta Mahesh. However, his blood sample later tested positive. Therefore, officials confirmed drug consumption after detailed laboratory analysis.

The Eagle anti narcotics team conducted a surprise raid at the farmhouse. The property belongs to former MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy. The farmhouse is located in Aziznagar of Moinabad in Rangareddy district.

Moinabad Drugs Case Raid Details

Police acted after receiving credible information about a suspected drugs party. Consequently, the Eagle team carried out searches around 11 pm on Saturday. Officers conducted extensive checks across the premises.

During the operation, police found 11 people at the location. The group included several prominent individuals and one woman. Authorities then conducted preliminary medical tests on those present.

Officials said the investigation continues. They are collecting forensic evidence from the farmhouse. They are also verifying the source of the suspected narcotic substances.

Meanwhile, police said they will question all those present. They will also examine call records and other digital evidence. Furthermore, officials plan to identify possible suppliers linked to the case.

The Telangana Police have intensified their anti drug operations in recent months. As a result, special teams like Eagle now conduct targeted raids based on intelligence inputs. Officials say such operations aim to curb drug networks.
