Hyderabad, Mar 18 (Maxim News): A tragic incident came to light in Karimnagar where the wife of a Sub Inspector died by suicide. The victim was identified as Divya, wife of SI Chandrasekhar, who works in Karimnagar Two Town police station.
According to reports, the couple lived in Hanuman Nagar under Karimnagar One Town limits. On Tuesday, Divya consumed crushed oleander seeds at home. Soon after, her health condition worsened. Family members then rushed her to a hospital in Karimnagar for treatment.
Doctors provided emergency treatment. However, her condition turned critical. Therefore, doctors shifted her to Hyderabad for better medical care. Despite treatment, she died in a Hyderabad hospital.
Officials said the exact reason behind the suicide is not yet known. Police are expected to examine the circumstances leading to the incident. Meanwhile, the death has left the family in deep grief.
Chandrasekhar and Divya have two sons. Both children are around seven years old. The young children losing their mother at an early age have moved relatives and locals. Family members and neighbours expressed shock over the incident.
Meanwhile, colleagues from the police department visited Chandrasekhar. They offered their condolences and support to the grieving family. Further details are expected after authorities complete their inquiry. (Maxim News)
