- Shri Rama Shobha Yatra sees one lakh devotees, tight security
Hyderabad, March 27: Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that Lord Rama is a symbol of righteousness and Sita represents purity, while addressing devotees during the Shri Rama Shobha Yatra. He also said that the Ramayana is unique in Indian culture.
He urged people to take inspiration from Lord Rama. He described Rama as an ideal son, husband and man in the Ramayana. Meanwhile, the Governor flagged off the Shri Rama Shobha Yatra at the Sitaram Bagh temple in Hyderabad on Friday.
Later, Shiv Pratap Shukla said that it is commendable that the city has been organizing the Shri Ram Shobha Yatra and Kalyanotsavam in a special way for years. He added that the Shobha Yatra reflects the unity of devotees. He also noted that the spiritual enthusiasm of the participants keeps the atmosphere of the city devotional.
The Sri Rama Shobha Yatra began at Sitarambagh and will end at 10 pm at Hanuman Gymnasium in Sultan Bazaar. Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner C V Anand said that all arrangements have been completed for the yatra. Authorities are conducting the event under tight security.

About one lakh devotees are participating in the Shobha Yatra. At the same time, around three thousand personnel are deployed for security. Officials are monitoring the procession through CCTV cameras and drones in all areas where the yatra is taking place. Therefore, authorities aim to ensure smooth movement and safety.
The event continues with strong participation. It also reflects the cultural and spiritual importance of the Ramayana among the people.
