Some youths in the procession displayed a large flex. It showed the image of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on one side. On the other side, it carried the photo of Lawrence Bishnoi. The banner also carried a Hindi slogan that read “Aap ka baap aa raha hai,” which drew criticism.
Meanwhile, photos and videos of the flex quickly spread on social media. As a result, the incident started a debate online. Several netizens expressed concern over the display of controversial figures during a religious procession.
Many users said such acts could disturb communal harmony. They also said religious events should avoid controversial content. Therefore, some demanded action from authorities.
