Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, is the son of the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He has long remained a secretive figure within Iran’s political structure. However, his name has now drawn attention following reports and online discussion about his condition.

Meanwhile, in an overnight post on the messaging app Telegram, Yousef Pezeshkian addressed the circulating talk. He wrote about hearing reports related to Mojtaba Khamenei’s health. “I heard news about Mr Mojtaba being injured. I asked friends who were in contact. They said, “Thank God, he is healthy and there is no problem.” He did not provide further details about the matter.

The remarks quickly drew attention online and added to the speculation. However, the message also suggested that contacts close to Mojtaba Khamenei said there was no health problem. Still, the discussion continued as there has been no direct public appearance or statement from him recently.

Mojtaba Khamenei has not been seen since February 28. On that day, his father and his wife were killed in an Israeli airstrike that started the war. The event marked a major turning point and later led to his rise to leadership.

Later, Mojtaba Khamenei became Iran’s supreme leader on Monday. However, since assuming the position, he has not issued any public statement. He also has not appeared publicly. Therefore, the absence has added to questions and speculation about his health.

Observers note that Mojtaba Khamenei has historically kept a low profile. Even before recent events, he rarely appeared in public or communicated directly with the media. Because of this, limited information about his current condition continues to fuel online discussion.

For now, the only recent comment related to his health remains the Telegram message from Yousef Pezeshkian. The post stated that friends in contact with Mojtaba Khamenei confirmed he was healthy and facing no problem. However, beyond this brief message, no additional details have been shared.
