Hyderabad, April 15: Mallu Ravi criticised G. Kishan Reddy over remarks on Revanth Reddy. He termed the comments inappropriate and strongly objected to the language used.
Speaking in New Delhi on April 15, Ravi said the remarks were arrogant. He questioned whether such statements reflect democratic values. He urged the Centre to take note of the Chief Minister’s concerns.
The Congress MP also raised the issue of reservations. He demanded that BC reservations be included along with women’s reservation. He said the party supports equitable representation.

Ravi highlighted the Congress party’s role in national unity. He recalled sacrifices made by former Prime Ministers. He stated that the party remains committed to the country’s integrity.
He also warned against arbitrary delimitation. He said any move without consensus would face strong opposition. He added that the party would raise its voice in Parliament.
The MP said public resistance could emerge in Telangana if concerns are ignored. He noted that a two thirds majority is required to pass a delimitation bill. Therefore, he urged wider consultation before any decision.
