Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): Panic gripped under Mehdipatnam Police limit after a man’s body was found inside an ATM kiosk on Thursday. The incident created tension among local residents in Vijay Nagar Colony.
According to police, locals noticed the body inside the HDFC Bank ATM and immediately alerted authorities. Soon after, Mehdipatnam police rushed to the spot and began an investigation.
Police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem examination. Officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the deceased.
Investigators are now examining all possible angles. They are trying to determine whether the death occurred accidentally or if foul play was involved.
Meanwhile, police registered a case of suspicious death and started collecting evidence from the ATM centre and surrounding areas. They are also checking CCTV footage to trace the sequence of events.
The sudden discovery of the body caused concern among residents and passersby. However, police said further details would emerge after the postmortem report and investigation.
