Hyderabad, April 30 (Maxim News) : The rain forecast in Telugu states offers relief as the Meteorological Department predicts rainfall for the next three days. The update comes amid rising temperatures across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
According to officials, a trough continues to influence weather conditions over the region. It extends from south interior Karnataka to Tamil Nadu and up to the Gulf of Mannar at about 0.9 km above sea level. Therefore, this system may trigger light to moderate rains in several areas.
On Thursday, isolated places may receive light to moderate rain or thundershowers. In addition, strong winds may blow at speeds of 50 to 60 km per hour. As a result, thunderstorms and lightning may accompany rainfall in some regions.

Furthermore, similar conditions may continue on Friday and Saturday. The department expects scattered rainfall across parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, gusty winds may persist during this period.
In South Coastal Andhra, light to moderate rains may occur at one or two places over three days. However, heat and humidity may still cause discomfort. At the same time, Rayalaseema may also witness light to moderate rains with thunderstorms during this period.
In Telangana, the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre confirmed that the trough remains active. Consequently, several districts may receive scattered rainfall over the next three days. Moreover, isolated thunderstorms and lightning may occur in some areas.
Despite the rainfall, maximum temperatures may remain largely unchanged. However, the showers may bring temporary relief from intense heat. Authorities have advised people to stay cautious during thunderstorms and strong winds.
Overall, the rain forecast in Telugu states indicates a short term weather shift. It may ease heat conditions slightly while maintaining humid weather patterns. (Maxim News)
