TIMS Sanathnagar Inspection Speeds Up Hospital Completion

Hyderabad, May 5: Revanth Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy directed officials to expedite works at TIMS Sanathnagar. Acting on their instructions, Special Chief Secretary P Praveenya inspected the hospital complex on Tuesday.

She reviewed facilities at TIMS Super Specialty Hospital and expressed satisfaction with services. However, she noted that pending works were delaying full scale operations. Therefore, she asked officials to complete them quickly and open the hospital fully to the public.

TIMS Sanathnagar Inspection Reviews OP Services

Praveenya examined outpatient services that began in trial run mode from May 1. At present, OP services are running in 22 out of 29 departments. She inspected consultation rooms and patient facilities on site.

She expressed satisfaction with service quality. During the visit, Nodal Officer Dr Mahboob Khan briefed her on diagnostics, treatment systems, and advanced equipment.

He said the hospital is being developed as a centre of excellence in cardiac care and organ transplantation. Later, Praveenya held a review meeting on coordination among departments.

She instructed officials from the Roads and Buildings Department, Health Department, and Telangana State Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation to strengthen coordination. She stressed that gaps must be resolved without delay.

She also directed EPC contractor Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited to complete pending works at the earliest. These works are critical for full scale hospital operations.

Senior officials, including R and B Chief Engineer G Rajeswar Reddy and Electrical Chief Engineer Y Lingar Reddy, attended the inspection. Engineers and corporation officials also took part.

The TIMS Sanathnagar inspection focused on removing bottlenecks and ensuring early public access to advanced healthcare services.
