Hyderabad, May 12 (Maxim News): A bag containing Rs 15 lakh was stolen in Panjagutta, creating a stir. The incident came to light late. Three people cleverly stole a bag worth Rs 15 lakh from a collection agent. The victim, who works as a collection agent, went to Panjagutta to collect the money and deposit it in the bank. He stopped at Ganesh Stamps and Co. shop to buy stamps and placed his bag on a chair. He was shocked to find that the bag was missing after some time. He immediately filed a complaint with the Panjagutta police regarding the matter.
The police, who registered a case based on the victim’s complaint, conducted an investigation based on CCTV footage at the scene. Three accused were arrested. The accused were identified as residents of Old City. Police said that one of the three was a friend of the victim. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused had observed the victim’s movements as per the plan and stole the bag as soon as he placed it on a chair. The three accused are being interrogated by the Panjagutta police. (Maxim News)
