Hyderabad: A man died after a bike hit a road divider at Ibrahimpatnam while returning from a fuel station late Friday night.
According to police, the victim was identified as Jagadishwar Reddy. He had travelled to Hyderabad from Bengaluru in a car.
Police said the car reportedly ran out of fuel near Ibrahimpatnam. Jagadishwar then sought help from a biker identified as Dikshit Reddy.
Jagadishwar rode with Dikshit Reddy to a fuel station at Hasthinapuram. However, they found the station closed and started returning.
During the return journey, the two wheeler reportedly rammed into a road divider. Both riders suffered serious injuries in the accident.
Jagadishwar was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead. Dikshit Reddy was admitted to a private hospital in Ibrahimpatnam for treatment. Police registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
