Hyderabad, June 1: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu met AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge in New Delhi on Monday and briefed him on the latest political developments in Jharkhand ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections.
Bhatti Vikramarka called on Kharge as part of a courtesy meeting. However, the discussion largely focused on organizational and political developments in Jharkhand. The Deputy Chief Minister recently visited the state following directions from the Congress high command.
During the meeting, Bhatti submitted a detailed report on the functioning of the Congress party in Jharkhand. He also shared his assessment of the current political situation and the challenges facing the alliance in the state.

Furthermore, Bhatti Vikramarka briefed the AICC President on his discussions with Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He explained the efforts underway to strengthen coordination among partners of the INDIA alliance ahead of the Rajya Sabha elections.
According to party sources, discussions focused on bringing all alliance partners onto a common platform. The leadership also reviewed plans to formulate a unified electoral strategy for the upcoming contest.
Meanwhile, Bhatti informed Kharge about consultations held with senior Congress leaders and alliance representatives in Jharkhand. He said these interactions aimed to improve coordination and ensure a joint action plan for the elections.
In addition, he highlighted the efforts of Jharkhand Congress leaders to maintain unity within the alliance. He noted that party leaders are working together to build consensus and strengthen cooperation among alliance partners.
The Deputy Chief Minister also conveyed that Congress leaders in Jharkhand remain committed to ensuring a united approach in the Rajya Sabha elections. He emphasized that close coordination among INDIA bloc partners will play a key role in the electoral process.
