Hyderabad, june 19 (Maxim News): A key step has been taken for the development of Musi Riverfront, which was planned by the Telangana government. The implementation of the Gandhi Sarovar project has received official approval from the Center. The Union Ministry of Defense has given the green signal to the Musi Riverfront project. Working permission has been granted to develop Bapughat as ‘Gandhi Sarovar’.
The Center has approved the use of 83.81 acres of defense land worth Rs. 533.42 crore. The Center has given clearance for development work on the land within the limits of Artillery Center Golconda.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy responded to the Center’s approval for the Musi Riverfront Project. The CM thanked Defense Minister Rajnath. He said that this is a milestone in the vision of Musi revival and riverfront development. Revanth Reddy clarified that the goal is to transform the Musi catchment area into an environmental, cultural and public asset. (Maxim News)
