Hyderabad, June 20: Jana Sena Party on Friday opened its Telangana state office in Hyderabad, with party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan announcing that the party will speed up its political activities in the state.
Inaugurating the office at Manikonda, Pawan Kalyan said Jana Sena would focus on people’s issues in Telangana. He asked party leaders and workers to work for the aspirations of the people and said national unity and integrity must remain the party’s first priority.
He said Jana Sena cadres should take the party’s ideology and principles to the people. He also urged senior leaders to guide new members so they understand the party’s political vision clearly.
Pawan Kalyan announced that Jana Sena would launch the Janavani programme in Telangana to hear public grievances directly. He said party workers must listen to people with respect, understand their problems and work towards solutions.
He asked leaders to prepare a plan to organise Janavani across all regions of Telangana. He said unresolved issues should be taken to officials and public representatives, and if needed, the party should think of launching public movements.
Calling Telangana the heart of India, Pawan Kalyan said the region has a rich history of struggle and sacrifice. He said the spirit of Telangana’s youth and their rights-based movements had inspired him deeply.
He added that Jana Sena began its movement from the soil of Telangana and that the party must stand strongly with the people of the region. He also said the party has started expanding its activities in Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
