Hyderabad, June 20: Rajendranagar police saved the life of a one-year-old infant by giving timely CPR after a road accident on the Shamshabad to Aramghar route on Friday night.
The infant stopped breathing after a car travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad lost control and crashed into a roadside tree. Several passengers suffered injuries in the accident.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rajendranagar, S Srinivas, was on routine patrol when the accident took place. He and his escort team rushed to the spot after noticing the crash.
Timely CPR by Rajendranagar police saves infant
Police said the child had become unconscious and was not breathing when the team reached the scene. Under the guidance of DCP Srinivas, the officers immediately administered CPR and first aid to the infant.
Their quick response helped revive the child, bringing relief to the parents at the accident site. The police then shifted all injured passengers to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
