Hyderabad, June 25: The British Council will organise a virtual Study UK Pre Departure Briefing on July 16 for Indian students who have secured conditional or unconditional offers from UK higher education institutions for the Autumn and Winter 2026 intake.
The online session will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm and aims to help students prepare for their transition to life and study in the United Kingdom. Students and parents can attend the briefing through Microsoft Teams after registration.
Study UK Pre Departure Briefing to Guide Students
The session will cover visa procedures, accommodation planning, travel preparation, health and wellbeing, and student life in the UK. Participants will also receive practical guidance on budgeting, packing and adjusting to a new environment.
Representatives from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), the British Universities’ International Liaison Association (BUILA), UK alumni and current students will participate and interact with attendees. Students will also receive updated information on student visa applications and support services available in the UK.
The British Council said the programme is intended to help students make informed decisions and reduce challenges during the move abroad.
