Mumbai, June 26: Actor Allu Arjun is set to undergo a look test for his upcoming film, tentatively titled AA23, in Mumbai on June 26 as preparations gather pace for his first collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
The actor is currently shooting for his much awaited film Raaka in Mumbai under the direction of Atlee. At the same time, work has begun on AA23, which is expected to be mounted on a grand scale.
AA23 look test begins preparations
According to industry sources, the look test will be conducted under the supervision of Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is finalising Allu Arjun’s appearance for the action entertainer. The session is considered an important part of the film’s extensive pre production process.
The makers are reportedly progressing rapidly with pre production, including script development, character design and technical planning. If the schedule goes as planned, principal photography is expected to begin between December 2026 and March 2027.
The project has already generated significant excitement among fans as it marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for delivering blockbuster action films.
Adding to the anticipation, music director Anirudh Ravichander has been signed to compose the soundtrack and background score. His association with the project is expected to further enhance expectations for the pan Indian entertainer.
With Raaka currently under production and AA23 moving into its next phase, Allu Arjun is gearing up for another ambitious project expected to be one of the biggest films of his career.
