Internet/Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News): Reports have emerged in the national media that Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margarita will attend the funeral of Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on behalf of India. It is learnt that Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain will also attend along with Minister Pabitra.
Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga recently invited Prime Minister Modi to attend the funeral of Ayatollah Khamenei. In this context, it is reported that a Union Minister and the Governor of Bihar will go to Iran on behalf of India. His funeral will be held on July 4 in the city of Mashhad, the birthplace of the Ayatollah. (Maxim News)
